San Diego, CA– Instead of just holding a cause near to your heart, why not wear it? DeLatori, founded by Ori Zemer, Tal Zemer and Marilyn Harrell, the executive team that also runs the CHARRIOL North American business, is proud to introduce “Lockets for a Cause” - a group of 18-karat gold-plated over .925 sterling silver necklaces marked with colored enamel ribbons on the interior. Ranged in pricing from $625 - $750, a portion of all proceeds will benefit causes including breast cancer awareness, heart disease research and supporting our troops.

A celebrity partner, soon to be announced, will be on board to support national events as well as appear in marketing materials aimed at retail customers. In addition, alliances with key charities will legitimize the collection to the general public.

The products launched at the Las Vegas Couture Jewelry Trade Show were targeted specifically at top retailers and potential partners. After a national debut in the fall, the lockets will be supported with advertisements, social media communication and in-store materials. DeLatori will also work closely with individual retailers to tie-in local charities and events to the collection.

“DeLatori’s motto is ‘Beauty Transcending Time,’ and we want the lockets to also embody that sentiment,” explains Ori Zemer of DeLatori. “We designed them in our signature style – one inspired by world travel and lost civilizations – but with a decidedly 21st century feel. Detailed filigree is the centerpiece, but the hidden charity ribbon can be revealed with just a click, reminding us all of what we should keep close to our hearts.”

An initial package of three ribbon colors will be available to retail partners (pink, red and yellow), with endless possibilities available for custom lockets.
