Magnolia Bostad is awarded four land allotments in Stockholm comprising a total of 355 apartments

Magnolia Bostad has, in competition with approximately 30 developers, been awarded one land allotment in Skärholmsdalen, one in Skarpnäcks gård and two allotments in Årstaberg.

The land allotment in Skärholmen concerns part of the property Skärholmen 2:1 and comprises approximately 9,000 square meters of land where Magnolia Bostad will develop approximately 85 apartments. The area is part of the Fokus Skärholmen-project, which will provide attractive residential areas with proximity to nature, biketrails and footpaths, SKHLM and Kungens Kurva. The area also has good metro connections with 20 minutes to Slussen. Magnolias Bostad's proposal has been prepared in cooperation with OKK + and local plan is expected to be approved in 2018.

The land allotment in Skarpnäck concerns part of the property Skarpnäcks gård 1:1 and comprises approximately 4,500 square meters of land, where the company intends to develop approximately 50 apartments. The project is part of the larger development program for Bagarmossen-Skarpnäck and the area has good bus connections with 20 minutes to Gullmarsplan and the subway from Skarpnäck. The proposal has been prepared in cooperation with Jägnefält Milton. Local planing work begins in 2018.

The land allotments in Årstaberg concerns part of the properties Liljeholmen 1:5 and Årsta 1:1 and comprise a total of approximately 22,000 square meters of land where Magnolia Bostad intends to develop approximately 220 apartments. The ground floors are planned to accommodate commercial premises as well as a preschool. The area today has excellent public transport by train, bus and commuter train with 10 minutes to Stockholm Central and a new subway station is planned at Årstaberg. Magnolias Bostad's proposals have been developed in cooperation with OKK + and local planning work begins in 2018.

These are Magnolia Bostads first land allotments from the City of Stockholm and a receipt that Magnolia Bostad's reliability as a community developer grows. We develop homes in attractive locations in Sweden's growth areas with the highest ambition in terms of social, economic and environmental sustainability. Now, we look forward to together with the city and other actors bringing forward new ideas and developing Skärholmen, Skarpnäck and Årstaberg, says Fredrik Lidjan, CEO of Magnolia Bostad.

All agreements are conditional upon the land allotments being approved by the Development Committee (Exploateringsnämnden) in November 2017.
