Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings 2 Live Beyond Celebrity Golf Tournament to Myrtle Beach, SC

Golf tournament to feature Hall of Famer Eddie Murray, Reggie Sanders and other MLB and NFL Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will be hosting a 2 Live Beyond celebrity golf tournament featuring former All-Stars, Gold Glove Award winners, All-Pros and other MLB and NFL alumni. The event will take place on Friday, June 13th and Saturday, June 14th, 2014. Proceeds will benefit the Reggie Sanders Foundation, the Dream within You Campaign and Africa New Life Ministries.

Players attending* the event include eight-time All-Star and Hall of Famer Eddie Murray, 2001 World Series champion Reggie Sanders and three-time Pro-Bowl selected Matt Turk, as well as Marlon Anderson, Corwin Anthony, Michael Chabala, Andre Davis, Jim Fairey, John Flinn, Samkon Gado, Jose Guzman, Orlando Hudson, Meredith Kirk, Larry Kirksey, Dennis Kinney, Bill Landrum, Olindo Mare, Jerry Martin, Ruvell Martin, Kennard McGuire, Lloyd Merritt, David Patten, Jim Perry, Bernard Pollard, Donald Prince, Steve Ratzer, Desi Relaford, Kurt Seibert, Junior Spivey, Tyler Thigpen, Chad Tracy and Tony Womack.

The event will start Friday, June 13th, with a cocktail hour and live auction at the House of Blues, beginning at 5:00 p.m., followed by a concert at 7:00 p.m. The House of Blues is located at 4640 Hwy 17 S, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. The tournament will take place Saturday, June 14th, at the Grande Dunes Resort Course located at 8700 Golf Village Lane, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572. The day will begin with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. An awards ceremony and barbeque at 3:30 p.m. will conclude the event.
