Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic Series to Dallas

Free youth baseball clinic to feature Ellis Valentine, Pat Mahomes and other MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series on Saturday, July 7th, 2018. The free clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons for approximately 200 local youth.

Players attending* include All-Star and Gold Glove Award winner Ellis Valentine and 11-year MLB veteran Pat Mahomes, as well as Bryan Clark, Choo Freeman, Donald Harris, Jack Hobbs, Ced Landrum and Jimmy Serrano. These eight players combine for 39 seasons, 994 hits and 1,713 games in Major League Baseball.

The clinic will take place at Texas Rangers Youth Academy at Mercy Street Sports Complex, running from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., located at 2303 Bickers Street, Dallas, TX 75212. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, baserunning and life skills. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the morning will conclude with an autograph session and baseball giveaways for children in attendance.
