Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic Series to San Antonio, TX
Free youth baseball clinic to feature Donald Harris, Micah Bowie and other MLB Alumni
Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) and CTX Ability Sports have partnered to hold a Legends for Youth Baseball Clinic for children with disabilities. Children will have the opportunity to play with their big league heroes on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015. The free clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons for approximately 200 local youth ages 6 – 16.
Players attending* include 1989 Rangers first round draft pick Donald Harris and six-year veteran Micah Bowie, as well as Sherman Corbett, Odie Davis, Jeff DeWillis, Travis Driskill, Billy Smith and Mark Worrell.
The clinic will take place at Dickson Stadium, home of the St. Mary’s University Rattlers, running from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., located at 1 Camino Santa Maria, San Antonio, TX 78228. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, baserunning and life skills. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. The morning will conclude with an autograph session for children in attendance.
