Metro Supply Chain Group completes buy-out of top Europe-based time critical logistics specialist

Leading 3PL provider expands global footprint and logistics services offering and increases automotive industry presence

Thursday April 14th… Metro Supply Chain Group, a leading 3PL solutions provider in North America, has expanded its global automotive capacity with the acquisition of Europe-based automotive and industrial services emergency logistics specialist, Evolution Time Critical. The company’s expedited freight expertise complements Metro’s specialism in providing customized logistics solutions, helping to provide a truly cross-industry, multimodal global service.

With origins in consumer goods, Metro Supply Chain Group currently specializes in providing customized solutions incorporating warehouse and transportation management, post production customization and professional services. To further support its growing business its next customer service hub is being opened in 2016. Evolution Time Critical, which will remain headquartered in the UK, provides a robust supply chain safetynet by providing contingency for manufacturers and suppliers that protects against financially costly unscheduled production stoppages or service delivery failures.
