PALLETLINE WELCOMES NEW HEAD OF HUB OPERATIONS

Leading UK palletised distribution network Palletline is delighted to announce that it has appointed Richard Gutsell as its Head of Hub Operations.

With more than 25 years’ of front line experience in the logistics industry, Richard joins Palletline from City Link where he was Regional Network Manager and previously Head of Hubs.

Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience, Richard will be responsible for the day to day running of Palletline’s multi-hub operations while maintaining service levels, compliance and the highest standards of health and safety.

Richard said: “Palletline is widely acknowledged in the industry as a market leader that continually innovates to streamline procedures at its six hubs, in order to reduce road miles and save Members and their customer’s time and money.

“Hub operations are absolutely essential to the Palletline business model. Anybody who has witnessed the hubs in full swing will appreciate the accuracy needed to keep them running at optimum efficiency, so I am thrilled to be taking charge of operations and driving all future improvements.”

Palletline is a member-owned cooperative network with more than 6,000 vehicles, 12,000 staff and has access to over five million square feet of warehousing space.
