Marquis Yachts Appoints Kraemer New Sales Manager
Pulaski, Wis. (Nov. 18, 2013) Marquis Yachts, LLC, has named Jon Kraemer as a new regional sales manager for the Wisconsin yacht maker, which builds Carver and Marquis brand yachts.
Matthew VanGrunsven, vice president of global sales for Marquis Yachts, LLC, announced the appointment this week saying the company is glad to have Kraemer join the sales team.
“We are confident Jon will bring great insight and talent to the Marquis brand because of his solid experience working in the sales of boats and yachts,” VanGrunsven said. “I am pleased to work alongside a talented professional with his track record.”
Kraemer will be responsible for assisting VanGrunsven in developing the company’s sales strategy, as well as monitoring and coordinating ongoing sales events and managing wholesale and retail transactions.
Before joining the Marquis team, Kraemer held the position of general manager for Ed’s Boat Sales located in both Sturgeon Bay and Green Bay, Wis. Kraemer’s experience at Ed’s, in addition to a variety of yacht sales representative and management roles, made him a well-rounded choice for the role of Marquis’ sales manager, VanGrunsven said.
Kraemer joins the company during a year of aggressive product and sales growth. In 2013 alone the Carver division is releasing three totally new-designed yachts. Thus far, the C34 and C40 have been unveiled to the public, and the 37’ Coupé will be released later this year.

A resident of Green Bay, Kraemer will be based in Marquis’ corporate headquarters and boatyard in Wisconsin.
