Mechanic of the Year is announced

Bilal Mouhib was named Mechanic of the Year when the Nordic leading car service chain handed out the award during the Mekonomen Group Award 23 November 2017. Bilal came to Sweden two years ago and has quickly made a big impression.

"I'm very happy, it feels really great. The most important thing to me is that the customers are happy and satisfied”, says Bilal Mouhib after the appointment as Mechanic of the Year 2017.

Bilal came to Sweden in 2015 and has in a short amount of time learned the Swedish language and acclimatized to the work as a mechanic at Speedy Bilservice in Huddinge, (a suburb of Stockholm). Bilal has influenced the entire workshop with his positive spirit, heartily treatment and dedication to customers and their cars.

"Bilal has both a high level of technical expertise and a high end customer focus. With persistence, hard work and dedication he has developed in a very impressive way and is a great asset to the company. The biggest challenge for our industry is the lack of mechanics. We are pleased that we attract talented people like Bilal, and his close to 10,000 colleagues, to the Group's workshops”, said Pehr Oscarson, president and CEO of Mekonomen Group.

The Mekonomen Group Award is an annual event that celebrates the Group's heroes. The nominees for the award The Mechanic of the Year were mechanics from all Mekonomen Group's workshops in the Nordic region.
