Mekonomen offers personal car leasing

Mekonomen is expanding its service offering and launches personal car leasing. Mekonomen car leasing service meets demands for carefree car ownership with no unforeseen costs or upfront fees.

Private car leasing is a growing trend. So far this year, 26 per cent of the private registered new cars in Sweden are leased, according to statistics from the Swedish Association for Motor Retail Trades and Repairs (MRF). Mekonomen’s car leasing service offers a new car for a fixed monthly payment, with no upfront fee.

“Mekonomen car leasing service meets motorists’ demands for simplicity and affordability. In our consumer survey, one in three car owners said they would be willing to lease a car privately instead of owning it. The leasing trend is here to stay, and this venture represents a strategic development of Mekonomen’s full-service offering ”, says Anders Molander, Business Area Manager, Mekonomen Group

Leased vehicles can be ordered online at www.mekonomenbilleasing.se. The service will initially be launched in Stockholm, on 26 August 2016.

“We will continue to drive innovation in our industry and are now the first player in the Nordic aftermarket for cars to offer personal leasing in addition to service and repairs ”, says Marcus Larsson, Executive Vice President, Mekonomen Group
