Botnia will take market related downtime at its mills in Finland and Uruguay

Due to weakening market conditions and growing pulp inventories Botnia will
curtail production at its mills. The curtailments at Botnia's Finnish mills
will cut the production with approximately 50,000 tons during the last quarter
of 2008. In Uruguay, Botnia's Fray Bentos mill will take 14 days downtime in
