Miika Arola appointed Group General Counsel in Metsä Group

LLM Miika Arola (37) has been appointed Group General Counsel of Metsä Group as
of 8 February 2013. In his new role, he will also be responsible for parent
company Metsäliitto Cooperative’s and Metsä Fibre’s legal affairs as well as
the Compliance function. Arola has worked in Metsä Group since 2003, latest as
Senior Legal Counsel. He will report to Kari Jordan, President and CEO of Metsä
Group.
