Preliminary information on Metsä Group’s sales and profitability in the fourth quarter of 2017

Metsä Group Stock exchange release 9 January 2018 at 12 noon EET

Due to suspected information security breach Metsä Group announces preliminary information on sales and profitability in the fourth quarter of 2017.

In the fourth quarter of 2017, sales were approximately EUR 1 328 million and comparable operating result was approximately EUR 185 million. Figures are based on preliminary unaudited information.

Metsä Group will publish its 2017 Financial statements bulletin on 8 February 2018.
