MILESTONE's Chico Contact Center Grand Opening

Silicon Valley-based Milestone Technologies, Inc. (MILESTONE) announced that it is adding another 110 jobs to the 230 new positions that were recently filled for the company's new Client Contact Center, scheduled to go live in early November. The 340 news jobs, created in the span of four weeks, positions Milestone as the 4th largest private employer in the city, according to the Chico City Manager's office. Milestone currently employs approximately 15 workers at a separate Client Contact Center in the city. Milestone President and CEO Prem Chand hosted a celebration of the Contact Center's opening with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Inviteded guests include: Sen. Jim Nielsen (CA 4th District); Chico Mayor Scott Gruendl and city councilmembers; Butte County Supervisors Bill Connelly and Larry Wahl; Chico City Manager Brian Nakamura; Ben Juliano, Interim Dean of CSU Chico's College of Engineering; Annie Rafferty, Director of Contract Education Training and Development at Butte College; and Luis Moreno, Director Butte County Operations Alliance for Workforce Development. "I want to thank all our community partners that helped Milestone find and recruit the initial 230 new team members who will provide great service to our clients," Chand said. "Because of the hard work that we did in getting our new Contact Center up and running in just 24 days we're adding another 110 jobs."
