Albert Owen MP raised the potential of marine energy and highlighted Minesto and its activities in Anglesey when parliamentary questions were put to the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Greg Clark in the House of Commons on Tuesday. Read more here.

Martin Edlund joins Mark Drakeford AM and EU’s Felix Leinemann as speakers at Marine Energy Wales Conference

Mark Drakeford AM, Cabinet Secretary for Finance in Wales and Felix Leinemann, Head of Unit at the European Commissions' Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries will deliver keynote speeches at industry body Marine Energy Wales’ annual conference in April. Martin Edlund, CEO of Minesto will also speak at the conference. Read more here.

Micro grid system buoy completed

The Malin Group have completed the fabrication of the buoy which will provide a critical support function to the operation of the first 0.5MW Deep Green device DG500 which will be installed in Holyhead Deep, Wales. Read more here.
