Micronic Mydata LDI 5s laser direct imaging tool wins

Täby, Sweden - 13 June, 2012 Micronic Mydata AB (publ), listed on NASDAQ OMX Nordic Stockholm, Small Cap: MICR, was awarded the JPCA Show Award for its laser direct imaging tool Micronic Mydata LDI 5s.

The JPCA Show Award was established in 2005 by Japan Electronics Packaging and Circuits Association for recognizing outstanding products and technologies contributing to the progress and development of electronic circuit technology and industry, and is given to presenters at the NPI (New Product Introduction). The presentations are held in parallel with the JPCA Show 2012, the Large Electronics Show 2012, the 2012 Microelectronics Show and the JISSO PROTEC 2012 all organized and operated by the JPCA.

The Micronic Mydata LDI 5s series was awarded for its groundbreaking solutions addressing current and future challenges within advanced packaging. The commitment is to offer substrate production with sub-10µm alignment and resolution and at the same time offer the best cost of ownership.

With the LDI 5s Micronic Mydata has bundled together a unique combination of high resolution, panel unique alignment including non-linear shapes without sacrificing production speed, thus offering the most cost efficient solution for production of present and future advanced FC-BGA and FC-CSP packages.
