NFIB Endorses Chip Carter for state Legislature

OKLAHOMA CITY, Aug. 31, 2015—The National Federation of Independent Business, Oklahoma's leading small-business association, has endorsed Chip Carter in the 85th District race.

"Chip Carter is the clear small-business candidate 85th District House race,” said Jerrod Shouse, state director of NFIB/Oklahoma.

"Small business owners trust Chip," Shouse said. "He has a track record of working on issues that are important to our members, and we are confident he will fight against the policies and regulations that are harmful to employers."

Carter's endorsement comes from the NFIB/Oklahoma SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, the association’s political action committee, and is based on his record and positions on key small-business issues including health care, taxes and labor and regulatory issues.

NFIB has over 4,000 dues-paying members in Oklahoma, representing a cross section of the state’s economy. Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB will encourage its members to help turn out the small-business vote on Election Day.
