Neste MY Renewable Diesel™ helps again to reduce the carbon footprint of Flow Festival

World’s second most sustainable company according to the Global 100 list, Neste is for the fifth year in a row partnering with Flow Festival to support the event’s environmentally friendly agenda. This year, Neste is also the main partner of Sustainable Flow.

Neste provides Neste MY renewable diesel – produced 100% from renewable raw materials – to Flow in order to power the festival. Neste MY reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% as well as helps improve the air quality on the festival grounds as the use of biodiesel helps reduce odors and particulate matter in the immediate vicinity.

Flow Festival, held in Suvilahti, Helsinki from 10 to 12 August 2018, is a carbon-neutral event where emissions are minimized by engaging in comprehensive environmental co-operation.

Sustainable Flow is Flow Festival’s own responsibility program, ensuring that the festival carries out its responsibilities related to the environment as well as the social aspects of sustainability. It requires the organizers to compensate for emissions, recycle all waste, and use green electricity produced by Neste.
