Record production in April

Good winds in April resulted in an electricity production of around 51,200 MWh¹. Actual output in the same month the previous year was 23,900 MWh.

Since the start of operations the company's wind farms have now delivered more than 900,000 MWh of green electricity.

Power production February 2013 – 31.2 GWh

The winds were weak in February. Totally 31.2 GWh of power were produced included the company´s share in Jädraås wind farm (14 GWh). The production the same month last year was 31.9 GWh.

Conditional agreement for acquisition of project in Norway.
Arise Windpower AB (publ) (“Arise”) has concluded a conditional agreement with Havgul clean energy AS (“Havgul”) for the acquisition of a project in Aremark municipality, Norway that is currently in the permitting process. Start of construction can be done at the earliest in 2014.

Power production August 2012

The wind in August was weaker than normal. Totally 17.4 GWh of power were produced from the company´s wind farms which is 16 per cent (3.3 GWh) less than expected and almost equal to the same month last year.

Acquisition of Solberg project, 75 to 120 MW, to be completed

As announced previously, Arise Windpower AB (publ) (“Arise”) has concluded a conditional agreement with Ownpower Projects AB (“OPP”) for the acquisition of a fully permitted project in Solberg to the west of Örnsköldsvik, comprising some 40 wind turbines.

As the conditions of the agreement have been met, Arise is now completing the acquisition.
