Blackpool Zoo is hailing its 40thanniversary year as its busiest yet with visitor numbers, revenue, internet sales and school visits all hitting all-time highs!

Visitor numbers are up one per cent on the previous year, revenue saw a four cent hike, internet sales were boosted by 16 per cent and 12 per cent more schools came through the doors of the award winning attraction.

Nine Caribbean flamingo chicks are soaking up some homeland sun in Blackpool Zoo’s bird nursery!
