SSAB sells Plannja’s panel production business

SSAB EMEA’s subsidiary, Plannja, is selling its production and sales of sandwich panels to Lindab.
The sale represents a part of the efficiency enhancement program that SSAB EMEA has initiated with the aim of reducing costs by SEK 800 million. The program includes a review of the entire business operations, including divestments of businesses which are not of strategic importance for SSAB.

Fabege sells 16 properties for SEK 1,350m

Fabege has divested a total of 16 properties, mainly outside of its prioritised market segments of Stockholm inner city, Solna and Hammarby Sjöstad. The buyer is Profi Fastigheter II AB and purchase price is SEK 1,350m. The transfer of ownership will take place on 12 January 2011.

Fabege divests industrial premises in Ulvsunda

Fabege has divested its site leasehold right to the Induktorn 28 property in Ulvsunda, Stockholm. The purchaser is Svenska Hus i Stockholm AB and the purchase consideration amounts to SEK 26m. The property encompasses approximately 5,400 sqm of warehouse and industrial premises. The purchaser will take possession of the premises on 3 May 2010.

Fabege sells Harpan 51 property

Fabege has sold its Harpan 51 property on Gumhornsgatan/Linnégatan in Stockholm for SEK 142m. The buyer is Fastighets AB Kannan and the property is being sold as a company. The 4,660 m2 property mainly comprises theatre premises and residential space.

The occupancy date is 3 March 2010. The sale will result in a profit after tax of SEK 14m, which will be recognised in the first quarter of 2010.
