In a ruling issued on 20 March 2014, the Land and Environment Court gives Nordic Iron Ore permission, in accordance with Sections 9 and 11 of the Swedish Environmental Code, to construct and operate the Blötberget and Håksberg Iron ore mines. The Court also grants permission for the water operations applied for and the right to use the land and water areas applied for.

The Court has granted Nordic Iron Ore leave for execution, meaning that the Company can apply the ruling sought, notwithstanding that the ruling has not yet acquired legal force, although not for works that affect the construction of dams for the tailings storage facility.

The ruling is reproduced in full on the Company’s website: www.nordicironore.se
