Successful share issue in Keliber

Nordic Mining’s associated lithium company Keliber Oy (“Keliber”) has successfully concluded a share issue with gross proceeds of EUR 2.96 million. Subsequent of the share issue, Nordic Mining’s shareholding in Keliber is approximately 25.1%.

Keliber has successfully concluded a share issue with gross proceeds of EUR 2.96 million. The share issue was subscribed by the existing shareholders of the company. Nordic Mining participated in the share issue and remains the largest shareholder in Keliber. Subsequent of the share issue, Nordic Mining’s shareholding in Keliber is approximately 25.1%.

CEO Ivar S. Fossum comments: “We are excited about the progress in Keliber and the positive outlook for the lithium industry as a provider for a greener society.”

The new financing will be used for the ongoing definitive feasibility study (“DFS”), the environmental permitting process related to the future operations, and other activities in connection with the lithium project. The DFS is scheduled for completion in Q2 2017.

In total, approximately 74,000 new shares have been allocated to eligible subscribers in the share issue. Subsequent of the share issue Keliber has around 829.000 shares.
