Nordstjernan creates global plastics group – Rosti
- Rosti acquires McKechnie, a company with SEK 800 million in sales
In 2004, Nordstjernan acquired GP Plastindustri, which at the time generated sales of SEK 250 million from its plant in Gislaved, Sweden. Since then, the company has grown – both through acquisitions and organic growth – to become a global plastics group. With its latest acquisition, British company McKechnie, the plastics group now called Rosti has seen a tenfold increase in sales to SEK 2.5 billion. McKechnie has sales of SEK 800 million, with a workforce of 650 employees. The company has three plants in the UK.
