NAPA’s Matthew Klein to Explore Strategies for Successful Hospital/Physician Alignment at Becker’s Hospital Review 7th Annual Meeting

North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) announced today that Matthew Klein, MD, Chief of Anesthesia for NAPA, will be a featured speaker at the 2016 Becker’s Hospital Review 7thAnnual Meeting to be held April 27-30, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, Illinois.  NAPA will also support the event as an exhibitor at booth #19G.

Dr. Klein will be presenting to healthcare executives on the topic “Successful Collaboration Leads to Winning Outcomes” during a breakout session on April 29 at 1:45 pm. The presentation will emphasize the importance of hospital and physician leadership alignment and engagement in mastering today's healthcare environment. With the continued push toward better quality care at a lower cost, Dr. Klein will discuss how alignment coupled with exceptional leadership and performance improvement initiatives can lead to the development of action plans that will help a hospital reach its desired goals.

Matthew Klein, MD, is a Chief of Anesthesia for North American Partners in Anesthesia. Prior to his current position, Dr. Klein served as the Medical Director for the River Road Surgery Center in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Klein is a member of the ASA, the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, the International Anesthesia Research Society, and the NJ State Society of Anesthesiologists. He is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology as well as the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Klein received his Doctorate of Medicine from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, and received a Certificate in Business of Medicine from John Hopkins University.
