Clarification on Media Reports

Luxembourg, February 5, 2013 - Northland Resources S.A. (TSX: NAU, OSL:
NAUR, Frankfurt: NPK, Nasdaq OMX/First North: NAURo - "Northland" or the
"Company") notes that an unfortunate headline in a Swedish online
magazine, nsd.se, has caused some questions about the Company's
liquidity situation. Northland wants to clarify that the Company has a
cash balance to cover current payments, and is expecting to have a long
term financial solution in place within short.
