Increase in share capital

Stavanger, 21 January 2013: Reference is made to the stock exchange
announcement dated 8 January 2013 regarding the issuance of 1,814,206
new shares in Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco). The capital
increase has now been registered with the Register of Business
Enterprises. The new registered share capital of Noreco is NOK
1,102,500,482.70 divided into 355,645,317 shares, each with a nominal
value of NOK 3.10. The new shares will be immediately listed on Oslo
Børs.
