Paf recruits new CFO and increases its focus on business development

The Åland gaming company Paf is to employ Per Sahlberg as its new CFO. Per has been recruited from online gaming developer Tain and will assume his position on 1 October. Paf’s current CFO Johan Rothberg is to be appointed Deputy CEO shifting his focus to business development.

Per Sahlberg has extensive experience in the gaming industry and was most recently CFO at Tain who develop technology platforms for online gaming. Before that Per worked as CFO for Atletico Nordic and before that as CFO for, both online gaming companies.

“Per Sahlberg has a breadth of expertise in the area of finance and extensive experience in the gaming industry which will enhance Paf’s business in an effective manner. Per and I have also worked together for the last 12 years so I know from experience that he is an extremely knowledgeable and competent person”, says Christer Fahlstedt, CEO of Paf.   

Paf’s current CFO Johan Rothberg is to be promoted to Deputy CEO and will focus on working with business development. Paf’s HR Director, Johanna Backholm, will remain as Deputy CEO.

He knows the organisation inside and out and is therefore well suited to increasing our focus on business development and translating it into business benefits for Paf”, says Christer Fahlstedt.

Paf’s new CFO Per Sahlberg is 41 years old and is currently living on Malta with his partner, but will be based at Paf’s main office in Mariehamn.
