The five year survival rate of three per cent for pancreatic cancer has not changed in over 40 years. With a strong focus on early diagnosis, Pancreatic Cancer Action is committed to improving survival through greater awareness and education of the signs and symptoms, better information and increased research funding for pancreatic cancer. Simply, we want more people diagnosed in time for surgery - currently the only potential for a cure.
