As a part of the preparations for the future large installation of systems in the tunnel project in the Netherlands, the international consortium COMOL5 orders a SP4 system  to customize specific luminaires for the upcoming installation of the SP4 systems in the tunnel. The order value is approximately SEK 250,000 and is beyond the tunnel contract, which is now in the final negotiation phase between Parans and COMOL5.

Parans received earlier this week an order for a SP4 system which will be delivered to COMOL5 in February 2019 and which will be used by COMOL5 to prepare the installation of the Parans system in the Rijnlandstunnel outside Leiden in the Netherlands. The luminaire, which will spread the natural light via the Parans system the first 80 meters of each tunnel end, will be developed by tunnel light specialists at COMOL5. The luminaire will be unique and adapted for the Rijnlandstunnel. To save time during the installation of all the systems and luminaires in the tunnel, every adaptation is tested in advance towards a real system.

- Our luminaires are not adapted for tunnels since this is a new segment for us and the luminaire will be developed by tunnel light specialist, says Anders Koritz, CEO at Parans. The Rijnlandstunnel project has locally in the Netherlands and abroad got great attention as an innovative tunnel project. The Parans system, with its unique possibility to lead natural light into the tunnel, has contributed to this. We see that we will be able to close the negotiations regarding the main agreement within short – simply put, we see the light in the tunnel!
