Kristina Gabrielli, 44, has been made the new Environment Manager at Peab. She will also focus on raising energy efficiency in the Group and will be a member of the Business Development management team.

“The Environment Manager will have a central role in raising energy efficiency in Peab. Our intention is to continue to develop our production process and our concepts for a sustainable society. We want our customers to feel safe in the knowledge that Peab delivers environmentally adapted and energy optimised systems, roads, buildings and housing,” says Peab’s Deputy CEO Tore Hallersbo. “Peab is a partner in building up society, which is why it’s essential we contribute energy optimised and environmentally adapted solutions at every stage of the construction process,” says Peab’s new Environment Manager Kristina Gabrielii. Peab has already taken several measures to optimise energy consumption in operations. For instance, we have built passive houses and energy smart buildings, we have optimised energy use at our construction sites and naturally we manage waste efficiently. “We now intend to improve and expand this effort,” says Kristina Gabrielii. Up to now Kristina has been responsible for developing Peab’s construction operations in West Sweden. She will start her new job as Environment Manager on 1 January 2010.
