Peab builds a new bridge in Jämtland

Peab has been commissioned to build a new 400 meter long bridge over Indalsälven in Lit, Jämtland along highway 796. The customer is the Swedish Transport Administration and the contract is worth around SEK 100 million.

This is a turnkey contract. Construction will start in June 2017 and it will take around two years to finish.

“The bridge is an important link between Lit and Södra Sore. It’s important for us to participate in the development of our community’s infrastructure and therefore we are very pleased to have been entrusted with the construction of the new Lit Bridge in Östersund Municipality in Jämtland,” says Jörgen Eriksson, Region Manager at Peab.

The project will be order registered in the second quarter of 2017.
