Peab builds a road junction in Gothenburg

Peab has been contracted to build the interchange Marieholmsvägen which is part of the upcoming Marieholmsförbindelsen in Gothenburg. The client is the Swedish Transport Administration and the contract amounts to SEK 333 million.

The project covers 700 meters of new four-lane urban highway on E45, local roads, two concrete trough, two bridges and extensive foundation reinforcement in highly trafficked environments.
Work will begin in February 2014 and is scheduled for completion in November 2017.

The project will be reported in the fourth quarter 2013.
