Peab builds apartments in Tönsberg, Norway

Peab has been chosen by Selvaag Bolig for the turnkey housing project Signaturen and Sjöfront trinn II on Kaldes Pier in Tönsberg, Norway. The contract is worth around NOK 147 million.

Signaturen will be a landmark on Kaldnes Pier in Tönsberg. The 13-story high apartment building was drawn by Spir Arkitekter and will contain 24 apartments. The size of the apartments will vary from one room of 38 m2 to five rooms of 95 m2.

Sjöfront trinn II consists of 24 apartments divided into two six-story buildings. The apartments will vary in size from 59 m2 to 115 m2. Several of them will stretch through the building with balconies on either side.

Construction will begin in the summer of 2017 and Signaturen is expected to be completed in December 2018 while Sjöfront trinn II is planned for completion in March 2019.

The project will be order registered in the first quarter of 2017.
