Peab builds Irsta School in Västerås

Peab has been commissioned to build a school in Västerås. The customer is Västerås City and the contract is worth SEK 140 million.

The school will be a totally new construction with room for some 800 students, from preschool to the sixth grade. It will be made up of five, two story buildings linked together through passageways. It will have a brick façade and the school will also contain a school kitchen.

The school will be certified according to Miljöbyggnad Silver 3.0.

The project is a turnkey contract in cooperation. Construction will begin in August 2018 and will be completed in April 2020.

The project will be order registered in the second quarter of 2018.
