Peab has been commissioned to build 297 student apartments in Lappskärsberget close to the University of Stockholm. The customer is Stockholms Studentbostäder and the contract is worth SEK 261 million.

The project includes the planning and construction of a total of 297 student apartments in four tower blocks that contain 10–13 stories. The apartments will for the most part consist of one room and a pantry, i.e. student one rooms.

This is the first stage of a substantial development of the student housing area Lappkärrsberget which is the largest Stockholms Studentbostäder student housing area.

The project is a turnkey contract and planning for the project will begin shortly. The first students are expected to be able to move in at the end of May 2020.

The project will be order registered in the second quarter of 2018.
