Peab receives contract for ground reinforcement in Spånga

Peab has been commissioned to reinforce the ground in city block Tora, which is the first stage of street work in Bromstensstaden in Spånga. The customer is the City of Stockholm and the contract is worth SEK 116 million.

Bromstensstaden is located in northwest Stockholm and there are plans for housing and services in the area.

The ground reinforcement project includes soil remediation, provisional rerouting of water, storm water and sewage as well as reinforcing the soil with lime cement pillars in preparation for future construction.

Work begins in October 2018 and will continue until the beginning of 2020.

The project will be order registered in the fourth quarter 2018.
