Peab to build 242 new rental units in Skovde

Peab has been contracted to build 242 new rental apartments in Aspö in Skövde. The client is AB Skövdebostäder and the contract amounts to approximately SEK 300 million.

The project has a clear focus on ecology and should be Swan labeled and certified with both environmental building Gold and passive house standard FEBY 12. The project is unique and at the forefront of combining eco -friendly, organic solutions with housing and leisure activities.

The area as a whole is designed with the ambition to build an ecological model community in miniature. In all of the details have environmental values ​​taken into consideration in addition, future tenants in various ways encouraged to make environmentally friendly choices in their everyday lives.

It is a turnkey contract on current account with price ceiling. Construction will start after that zoning became final in January 2015 and the handover takes place in stages from June 2016 with total completion in March 2018.
