Peab upgrades E16 at Kongsvinger

 
Peab has been contracted to carry out an upgrade of the road on the E16 through Kongsvinger in Norway. The client is the Norwegian Public Roads Administration and the contract amounts to 105 million NOK.

The work includes the construction of a new storm water systems, new street lighting, noise abatement and landscaping. The contract also includes the construction of 2.2 km of new bike path and refurbishment of two bridges.

The work will start in January 2016 and is scheduled for completion in October 2017.

The project will be reported in the fourth quarter of 2015.
