Swedish company PFO’s Pull Plug function turns your headset and mobile phone into a discrete and easy-to-use personal alarm. The function is part of the PFO Shield app that launches its Spanish version today.

PFO Shield's Pull Plug function lets you send an alarm with your location simply by pulling out your headset. For many young people on whom the headset is a permanent fixture, the lone walk home has never felt so safe. By making it available in Spanish, PFO hope to make life safer for speakers of the world's second biggest language, as well as the majority of their 224,000 strong Facebook fan base.

The PFO Shield personal alarm app also features a high precision locating function. By mutual agreement, users can now send and receive each other’s exact GPS positions. This is perfect for letting someone know where to meet you in non-emergency situations. The app also lets you administer PFO's other tracking alarm devices for objects of personal value, such as bicycles, pets and helmets, as well as the patented and innovative PFO One personal alarm bracelet from the convenience of your mobile phone.

To download your free Spanish PFO app go to Google Play and search for PFO Shield.
