Electrolux Select Avantime to Upgrade Global Intranet
Screen9 Online Video Platform powers video delivery for Electrolux
Digital full-service agency Avantime has been contracted to integrate Screen9's Online Video Platform (OVP) into Electrolux’s worldwide intranet, E-gate. Among other benefits, the new video platform will increase interest in internal knowledge sharing and collaboration.
“With the new video platform our colleagues will get closer to the core of the message and we can convey inspiration, dedication and knowledge in a completely different way than was previously possible,” said Ralf Larsson, Director Online Employee Engagement and Development at Electrolux.
Worldwide E-gate reaches 60 countries and has approximately 18,000 regular users. In November last year, Electrolux increased focus on their intranet and integrated social modules which make E-gate more community-like. Thanks to the redesign project, engagement in social feeds increased by a massive 700 percent, and is expected to keep growing.
“E-gate is used more and more everyday for everything from keeping abreast of internal news to a more personal dialogue through a series of social feeds. Thanks to the new video solution, it will be much easier to distribute films to all colleagues in an attractive way, and we believe in video as a means to further strengthen the commitment of our global group”, said Ralf Larsson.
Electrolux’s digital partner Avantime who have developed E-gate and upgraded the platform to EPiServer CMS 6 has integrated Screen9's OVP.
