Pihlajalinna acquires Linnan Klinikka in Hämeenlinna

Pihlajalinna is acquiring the entire share capital of the Linnan Klinikka Oy in Hämeenlinna from its current owners. The transaction will be completed on 2 February 2018. Linnan Klinikka will become a part of the Pihlajalinna’s chain of private clinics.

With this acquisition of the Linnan Klinikka, Pihlajalinna is realising its national expansion plan before the implementation of the healthcare and social welfare reform. The private clinic and hospital of the Linnan Klinikka also support Pihlajalinna’s current operations in the region. Pihlajalinna expands the healthcare service production in the municipality of Hattula during the spring 2018.

Linnan Klinikka is a respected and traditional private clinic and hospital established in 1958 in the centre of Hämeenlinna. In addition to the clinic in the centre, Linnan Klinikka has clinics in Loppi and in Tuulos, Hämeenlinna. Linnan Klinikka offers appointments with general practitioners and specialists, occupational healthcare, laboratory tests, X-ray and magnetic resonance imaging, day surgery, outpatient procedures and versatile therapy services.

”Linnan Klinikka is a strong local operator that will complement our Pihlajalinna operations in the southern Finland”, says Joni Aaltonen, CEO of Pihlajalinna.
