Pihlajalinna acquires the majority of Suomen Yksityiset Hammalääkärit Oy’s shares

Pihlajalinna acquires 51 per cent of Suomen Yksityiset Hammalääkärit Oy’s shares. The transaction will be completed on 15 March 2018. The acquired chain includes seven dental clinics in Tampere, Turku, Raisio, Paimio, Salo, Kuopio and Oulu. The dental clinics will become a part of Pihlajalinna’s chain of dental clinics. Pihlajalinna currently has nine dental clinics throughout Finland.

With the acquisition of the dental clinic chain, Pihlajalinna aims to strengthen its position in the dental care sector and improve its local service selection. The acquired clinics have operated in their locations for a long time and are well known. Their total annual turnover is approximately EUR 5.6 million. The chain’s dentists and management will remain as minority shareholders in the acquired company.
