Changes in Pihlajalinna's Management Team and Management Team structure
Pihlajalinna Plc changes its Management Team structure. Simultaneously, some Management Team members' roles change. Juha Rautio has been appointed Deputy CEO. The group forms an Extended Management Team to support the Management Team.
Beginning on 7 September 2016, the Group's Management Team will include:
CEO Aarne Aktan, Private Clinics and Specialised Care segment
Executive Vice President and Head of Group Projects Juha Rautio
SVP, Primary and Social Care segment, Virpi Holmqvist
CFO Niclas Köhler
General Counsel Hanne Keidasto
In addition to the Management Team members, The Extended Management Team will include:
Head of Mergers and Acquisitions Joni Aaltonen
Head of Human Resources Sanna Hildén
Head of Communications and IR Siri Markula
CIO Tuomas Otala
Medical Director Kimmo Saarinen
The main responsibilities of the Extended Management Team include support for the CEO and the Management Team in major projects and the Group's shared services.
Terhi Kivinen, SVP Communications, Marketing and Investor Relations and a member of the Group Management Team since 2014, has resigned from her position in Pihlajalinna and will move on to other duties outside the Group.
"Terhi Kivinen has had a significant role in the IPO of Pihlajalinna and in the takeovers of social and healthcare outsourcings. I wish her the best of luck with new challenges", says CEO Aarne Aktan.
The search for a new Head of Marketing will be initiated immediately. Siri Markula has been appointed Head of Communications and Investor Relations beginning on 7 September, 2016. Markula has acted as Pihlajalinna's Communications and CSR Manager since May 2016. Prior to joining Pihlajalinna, she has worked in communications roles at Talentum Plc and Suomen Yrittäjät and for almost 14 years in different roles in Helsingin Sanomat. Markula has a Masters degree in Social Sciences.
