Leading manufacturer of refuse and recycling sacks, bpi.recycled products has launched a new website dedicated to its flagship Green Sack® range. The new site, www.thegreensack.co.uk, has been designed specifically to promote the benefits and features of the 100% recycled refuse sacks.

In particular, visitors to the site will be able to learn more about the superior environmental credentials of the Green Sack®, which is believed to be one of the greenest refuse sacks currently available on the UK market.

Rachael Barton, Marketing Manager at bpi.recycled products, explains: “The Green Sack® offers today’s refuse sack supplier a number of impressive and particularly valuable advantages. They’re not only made from 100% recycled polythene, helping to conserve resources and divert waste from landfill, they’re also produced from UK waste at UK facilities.

“The result is a refuse sack with a carbon footprint of up to a third lower than refuse sacks made from virgin materials and significantly lower than most other 100% recycled refuse sacks, which are typically manufactured in the Far East and, as such, have massive product miles.”

Aside from these strong green credentials, Green Sack’s also deliver significant functional benefits. In particular, bpi.recycled products uses a large percentage of agricultural polythene waste such as used silage balewrap in the production of the Green Sack®, employing advanced technology to remanufacture this material in a way that retains its original strength and durability.

As well as providing comprehensive product information on the full Green Sack® range, the new website will also allow visitors to learn more about bpi.recycled products’ value adding service initiatives. This includes product training, a range rationalisation service and access to a nationwide network of dedicated sales managers able to provide technical advice and added insight.

Commenting on the launch of the Green Sack® website, Rachael Barton added: “Green Sacks are not only green in name, they’re also green in nature. The new site is designed to reflect this and to raise awareness both of the Green Sack’s many features and of bpi.recycled products’ range of service and support initiatives.”
