New post on the Connected Learning blog by Peter Kent offer suggestions

September 16, 2013 (Atlanta, GA) – In the era of customization, the increasing pressure on educators to move away from a one-size-fits all education is growing.

Peter Kent, the lead author of Macmillan's Teacher Masterclass Series and Promethean strategist, has been working with educators to build strategies to better personalize learning for today’s tech savvy students. In the first of a series of Connected Learning blog posts on the topic, he gathered insights from industry experts, including Tom Whitby, Tom Kenyon from NESTA and Brian Lewis from ISTE.

In this series, Kent seeks to answer two questions: What is preventing mainstream educators from taking personalized learning to the next level? How can our current obsession with personalized learning help us make schooling and education one and the same?
