MMR Group gets a spring in its step with seven new hires

Building on continued sector growth, seven new recruits have been recently welcomed by the team at MMRResearch Worldwide – the consumer insight and sensory specialist for the food, drink and personal care sectors. At a senior level, client services director Jon Arthurs brings two decades of experience to the team, associate directors Scott Barlow and Adam Curtis both leave behind past posts at TNS Global Research, whilst research manager, Jess Lomas, joins from Harris Interactive. The new members of the MMR team will be based between MMR’s Wallingford, Oxfordshire headquarters and its London office.

Scott Barlow, associate director, will work on developing one of MMR’s major accounts with a leading global drinks brand. Scott has 8 years’ experience in market research, both from the agency side where he has worked for TNS, and the consumer side, where he has gained significant food and drink experience.

Adam Curtis, associate director, joins MMR as an associate director from Outlook Research Ltd, where he also worked as an associate director. Previously to this, Adam was part of the Consumer Ad Hoc division of TNS Global Market Research.

Jon Arthurs, client services director, brings to MMR 20 years’ experience gained from both client and consultancy roles. Jon’s specialisms include NPD, shopper and strategic segmentations, having focussed on delivering insight that creates business change. 

Jess Lomas, research manager, comes to MMR having worked her way up through Harris Interactive over the last 5 years, following a degree in Social Sciences from Kent University.

Helen Poll, senior research executive, joins MMR as a senior research executive from TNS Global Market Research, where she worked as part of the quantitative consumer division.

Verity Cooper, trainee research executive, has opted for a career in the market research industry having worked previously in recruitment following the completion of her MA in Human Geography Research, at Newcastle University

Mark Grafton, marketing communications executive, will be working closely with the Business Development team to oversee company branding and design, following a multimedia background with professional photography, video production and network utilisation experience.
