Qliro Groups subsidiary CDON.COM today launches a beta version of a new B2B site, aimed at small and medium sized businesses in Sweden. CDON.COM has historically focused on B2C sales but has also sold directly to businesses through its existing site. The launch of the new B2B site strengthens CDON.COM’s offering and simplifies shopping for small and mid-sized businesses.

“CDON.COM is building a leading online marketplace. As part of this, we are now launching a B2B site to our corporate customers. We do this cost-efficiently by taking advantage of CDON.COM’s economies of scale and newly developed platform. The B2B site is built on our marketplace model and drop shipment which means that we can strengthen our offering without investing in additional own inventory,” says Magnus Fredin, Head of CDON Marketplace.

CDON.COM was launched in 1999 and has since the start focused on sales to consumers in the Nordics. Of the company’s 1,8 million active customers, businesses already make up an important customer group. The launch of the dedicated B2B site will make it simpler for these, and other businesses, to shop at CDON.COM.

Initially, the corporate product offering is IT-products and office supplies. Going forward, the ambition is to offer a wide and attractive assortment for businesses in the whole of the Nordics.

CDON.COM’s B2B site can be reached at http://b2b.cdon.se.
