Ranplan Wireless receives R&D tax credit for continued innovation in wireless network planning from UK Government

Ranplan Wireless, developer of the world’s first combined indoor and outdoor wireless network planning tool for urban environments, has received an R&D cash credit payment of over 3.9MSEK to support development of its flagship product, Ranplan Professional. This is the sixth R&D cash credit payment received year-on-year.

Governmental support of R&D activities was introduced in the UK in 2000 for emerging companies as an incentive to invest in innovation. The cash credits are awarded for ‘activities which directly contribute to achieving an advance in science or technology through the resolution of technological or scientific uncertainty’.

Ranplan Professional is the only software tool that can plan indoor and outdoor wireless network environments in coordination – including Small Cells, DAS and Wi-Fi – while providing the most accurate prediction models to reduce costs and deliver superior coverage and end-user experience. Ranplan Professional supports 3G, 4G/LTE, 5G and IoT (Internet of Things) technologies.
