New transport system takes Rational SelfCookingCenter® whitefficiency® out and about

Event caterers - there’s no need to be without your Rational, wherever you go

Once chefs start using a Rational SelfCookingCenter they find that they can’t manage without it, because it cooks everything perfectly. So event caterers who want to produce hot food on site are always looking for an easy way to transport their Rational to and from functions.

The solution lies in a new transport system developed by Rational to enable event caterers to move a table-top SelfCookingCenter between locations, effortlessly and safely. The new Catering Kit fits all SelfCookingCenter and CombiMaster six and ten grid models manufactured since 2004, the largest of which, the 102, takes 10 x 2/1GN containers.

The kit can be mounted underneath the unit. It comprises a sturdy supporting frame and stainless steel feet. Carrying handles on the sides protect staff and ensure that the SelfCookingCenter can be transported to upper floors and up flights of steps.

When used in combination with Rational’s extra-large wheeled stand, the units can be moved easily, for some distance, on uneven surfaces such as paths and driveways. The frame is reinforced at the side for protection and special fittings secure the unit. The racks in the stand have been designed so that GN accessories cannot slide out during transport.
